Work Address : Santa Fe Springs, CA
- Logistics (Transportation) back ground for at least 3 years
- Has done projects related with Transportation optimization, especially in data analysis
- Has good understanding on TMS or transportation related systems.
- Expert in PowerPoint, Excel, BI or any tools related with presentation.
Your role is to support to the sales team and operation team internally, helping them achieve their goals and assisting with projects related to developing and optimizing logistics operations for clients and prospects. You will collaborate with various teams to conduct research, gather data, analyze & validate information and design optimized supply chain models for both distribution center and transportation.
Responsibilities
· Identify and analyze internal and customer logistics data and processes and provide insights and solutions
· Creating SOPs for both internal and external business
· Being part of implementation task force, coordinate between sales and operations to successfully implement new business
· Process internal procedures for new business, such as P&L forecast, compliance etc.
· Able to negotiate with multiple carriers / vendors to find potential cost savings and achieve shipping KPI
· Support projects related with consulting and logistics optimization
Mandatory Skills
· At least 3+ years of experience in operations or sales in International, Domestic transportation and warehouse services
· Bachelor’s Degree Required
· Relevant Logistics Industry Knowledge
· Excellent presentation, communication skills
· Analytical, Data evaluation skills
· Microsoft Proficient (PPT/Excel)
· Familiar with Logistics systems (WMS/TMS)
Preferred Skills
· Bilingual Korean / English
· Transportation related experience (Operation and or Sales)
· CAD, Sketchup for distribution center design
